Le-Manoir-de-Brendel Estate is situated 55 kilometres from Cape Town International Airport in the heart of the Cape Winelands. It is a five-minute drive from the historical Franschhoek Village, rated among the top gourmet and wine towns of South Africa on the R45. Continental and hot breakfast is served overlooking the Klein Drakenstein Mountain and vineyards.
Our guests have the choice of ten luxurious suites with exclusive ambiance, as well as our family Vineyard Cottage. The atmosphere varies from room to room. All suites are serviced daily and are equipped with air-conditioners, a direct-dial telephone, selective DSTV channels, DVD player, a minibar, coffee and tea-making facilities, a safe for valuables, a hairdryer, gowns, slippers and luxury bathroom amenities. Le Manoir de Brendel is a family owned estate where all grapes are harvested by hand. The very best bunches are sorted from the lower-quality ones and 80% of the vineyards are planted with red varieties and 20% with white. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinotage and Shiraz are our red cultivars, and Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Semmilon and Chardonnay the white cultivars.
