Our home is comfortable, cool and full of character. It’s a fully renovated Victorian situated in Green Point, right near the beaches, downtown and V&A Waterfront. Large open-plan areas and upstairs deck are great for entertaining and relaxing.
Our home has lots of character, from Victorian details such as high ceilings and wooden floors to designer furnishings and lots of interesting art. But an easygoing sense of comfort is all-important to us. It’s an uplifting space to be in, with light pouring through the large sliding doors into the upstairs room off the deck and thick-pile carpets in the bedrooms downstairs. The large open-plan kitchen is well-equipped and leads onto a small courtyard. Good security (alarm, armed response), inside parking for 2 cars, excellent location.
Green Point is perfectly located for easy access to the Atlantic Seaboard beaches in the one direction, and town and the V&A Waterfront in the other. We’re a stone’s throw from the Cape Town Stadium built for the 2010 World Cup, the MyCiti bus stop and the Green Point Urban Park. A 10-min walk through the park takes you right onto the Sea Point beachfront. The neighbourhood is all quiet narrow streets with beautiful period homes. Down on Main Rd a mere 5-min stroll away, you’ll find all the shops and restaurants you’ll need (supermarket, Cape Town’s best deli, liquor store, specialty supermarket, pharmacy, coffee shops etc).
