Home is at the foot of the Hottentots Holland Mountain range. Enjoy spectacular views of False Bay and the Helderberg basin from the comfort of a vacation home and wrap-around balcony. Easy access to the mountain offers wonderful walks along our hiking trails through indigenous Fynbos (Cape floral kingdom) with even more spectacular views of the ocean and village below. Family-friendly beaches, fabulous restaurants and great shopping is just a 2-minute drive from the property.
The Mountain Retreat is well-appointed and fully equipped for self-catering. The house has an open plan living, dining, kitchen and balcony with an indoor fireplace and outdoor built-in braai. ‘Entertainers dream with a fantastic atmosphere!’ A second living room can be found on the top floor for quiet reading or gaming on the television. Super for the teens! Also included is a smart TV, Wi-Fi and remote-controlled security gates.
A scullery can be found just off the main kitchen area and offers a dishwasher, double door fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and double basin. A washer and dryer are located in the garage and available for our longer stay guests to enjoy.
The master bedroom is spacious with its own veranda, a walk-in wardrobe and a full en-suite bathroom with spa bath and open modern shower. A guest bedroom, known as the forest suite opens out at the mountain. A second shower bathroom and guest loo are located on the living area level. The third bedroom is downstairs on the entrance level and spacious enough for 2 single mattresses should extra kiddies be accompanying the group.
